Every Carla Visintini biojewel is handmade, piece by piece, with natural elements plated in 18k gold. So you can buy with peace of mind, we offer a 12 (twelve) month warranty against manufacturing defects, counted from the date the order is received.
Problems demonstrably originating from the manufacturing of the piece — such as failure of the gold plating, a natural element coming loose due to a fastening defect, or breakage of the metal structure with no external cause.
Since these are handmade pieces made with natural elements, some situations do not count as a manufacturing defect:
natural wear of the gold plating from continuous use;
change in color, shine or oxidation from contact with perfume, cream, sunscreen, excessive sweat, sea/pool water, or cleaning products (alcohol, acetone, chlorine);
damage caused by misuse, drops, friction, impact, or handling with excessive pressure;
improper storage (friction between pieces, humidity);
change in the natural element (flower, leaf, bean) resulting from time of use — variations in tone in these elements are part of the nature of a handmade product and are already described in the Product Sheet for each piece.
Found a possible manufacturing defect? Send an email to [email protected] with:
full name and order number;
description of the problem;
photos and/or video showing the defect.
You'll receive instructions for sending the piece back, with return shipping covered by the store — at no cost to you. After we receive it, we'll assess it within 30 days and, once the defect is confirmed, you can choose between an exchange for the same product (subject to stock), a refund, or store credit for a new purchase.
